God is so amazing! He chose me as Rectora for #143, and I am humbled and honored to serve in this way. The Cursillo ministry has always held a special place in my heart, and I look forward to being His hands and feet during this journey with the participants and the Team and beyond.
The theme the Lord put on my heart for the weekend is “Bless the Lord Oh My Soul” and the song is “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)”. I can’t wait to hear the room filled with this beautiful song!
Do you have a passion for our Lord? Do you feel called to serve on a Cursillo weekend? Do you feel called to serve the weekend of Oct. 24-27, 2019? Well then please consider filling out a Team application to send to me at your earliest convenience. Your application will be prayerfully considered and I look forward to hearing from you!
As we pray at all times for the Pilgrims and Team, let us also consider the needs of our community—signing up for the Prayer Vigil when available, water (small bottles welcome), soda, candy, and of course “Green” palanca. Our Secretariat Treasurer, John Genter, will be happy to accept your checks! Please check the date on the candy you send in, or if you so choose, green palanca will help us purchase fresh candy and nuts and ensure that the treats we put out are as special as our Pilgrims.
We have the most wonderful and generous Cursillo community; what a joy to be part of it! Thank you all for your prayers and your guidance and assistance as we journey to October together!
