In Integrated Multi-Cultural Weekend
Beloved,
I ‘ve been honored to help serve our Cursillo community for 24 years, watching as God brings the Holy Spirit and changes Pilgrims lives. Now, we are close to accomplishing one of our greatest achievements – reaching the milestone of 150 Cursillo weekends in the Diocese of Southwest Florida. Together, we have worked to serve God through the Cursillo movement while bringing greater glory to God. I look forward to serving as Rector for this momentous weekend.
In 2008, I attended Cursillo weekend 114 in the Diocese of Southwest Florida and sat at the table of St. Ann. I worship at St. John Divine in Sun City Center. I arrived at DaySpring with many unresolved issues and left with God at my side. I gave everything to him! Today I am forever changed – grace, joy, patience, laughter and love now fill my life as God continues to “Lead me where he needs me”.

The theme for weekend is Jesus Messiah “The Light of the World”. The dates are September 12 – 15. Team meetings are scheduled for St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, Sun Center, FL 33573.
God’s weekend is still a work in progress, but we need all of you to make Cursillo 150 successful. If it’s been a while since you’ve served on a Cursillo weekend, please prayerfully consider joining us on Team 150 to watch in awe at God’s work. He will certainly “lead them where he needs them to be”. And speaking of “God will lead you where he needs you”, we’ve attached applications – we really need our communities support to celebrate this milestone. De Colores Brothers & Sisters,
Hello, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We are calling out to all prayer warriors. Another one of God’s glorious weekends is upon us September 12 – 15, Cursillo #150. As you know a lot of planning goes into these weekends and it takes a community to pull it all together for the Glory of God. “Prayer and Action go hand in hand. Through prayer, God guides our preparation, teamwork, and diligent efforts to carry out His will.” (Nehemiah) One of the most important things you can do is offer up prayers for our Pilgrims by choosing a time slot to cover them with His grace throughout the weekend. We only have 11 more hours to fill. So, please pick a time and let us know what works best for you. See prayer vigil openings attached.
